After nearly two years of planning, Shock Totem has finally launched. We missed it by a few days, but I'm not sure I could have expected it to go as smooth as it did. I think we put together a fantastic publication. But now we must wait and see what the readers think.
For those who don't know, Shock Totem is a new digest-sized horror publication. The debut issue is 100 pages—over 30,000 words of fiction—featuring T.L. Morganfield, David Niall Wilson, Mercedes M. Yardley, and fellow New Englanders Jennifer Pelland, Kurt Newton, and Don D'Ammassa. It also includes conversations with William Ollie, Alan Robert (Life of Agony, Spoiler NYC), and the legendary John Skipp.
