Feels Like the First Time

Aaron Polson and his very Strange Publications has made available the 52 Stitches second-year anthology. It includes my very first published story, "By the Firelight." Everyone has to start somewhere, and I start here.

The anthology also features the likes of Kurt Newton, Mercedes M. Yardley, Nick Contor, John Boden, Cate Gardner, Bull Spec editor Samuel Montgomery-Blinn, among many many more, including the late Jamie Eyberg.

If you're interested in purchasing a copy, you can do so here.

Obviously supporting authors is a wonderful thing, something any author would—or should—greatly appreciate, but by purchasing this year's 52 Stitches anthology you will not only be supporting the authors but also a good cause.

On August 14, 2010, Jamie Eyberg, fellow author and friend to many within the small press, died in an accident near his home in Iowa. His wife died the following day as a result of the same accident.

They had two children. Kennedy and Brendan.

All profits obtained from purchases of this year's 52 Stitches will be donated to a memorial fund set up for Kennedy and Brendan. If you purchase one copy, think about purchasing two and sharing it with another. Either way, your support is most appreciated.
